“In January-February 2022, I directed Katherine as Valerie in The Weir for Jewel Theatre in Santa Cruz, California. Katherine’s level of care and commitment is the core of her work. In a demanding dramatic role, she was deeply committed to her character, shaping her with careful thought and diligence. As committed as she was to her choices, she continued to build and discover throughout the rehearsal process and in performance. Hey there, friend 

I’m Katherine

+ Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, member of Actors Equity and SAG-AFTRA

+ I have a B.A. in theatre and communication from UC San Diego.

+ I have this philosophy that all actresses are character actresses. When you grow up as a female-identifying actor, teachers and coaches try to put you into a category. Those days are in the rearview.

And I geek out on Star Trek TNG 🖖🏼

Age is a gift that's allowed my artistry to grow and expand in ways I've never thought possible. My training at the British American Drama Academy taught me that time/place/circumstance inform the story more than anything. Now that I’ve traveled a bit, I can tell a good grown-up story. Yes, I often play moms.

But don't get it twisted—I can still move and groove with the best of 'em. I mean, did you catch me twirling around San Francisco on the debut episode of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist?

The best part of living the glamorous life is that I have no idea what's next— What I do know is that I’m just getting started.
